TALLAHASSEE Fla… The Kent State women’s golf team will return to Florida for the Florida State Matchup in Tallahassee. This tournament comes on the heels of a seventh place finish at the UCF Challenge two weeks ago.
“We are looking forward to our second event of the spring and are hoping to build off two strong rounds to close out UCF,” Flashes head coach Casey VanDamme said. “This course has demanding approach shots and difficult green complexes which we think suits us well.”
Kent State will once again face some steep competition this week as one of just four mid-majors in a field of twelve that includes #3 Oregon, #16 Florida State and #20 Arizona.
The Flashes will be paired with the Clemson Tigers for the matchup and will tee-off three days of golf on Friday at 8:30 ET.
Location: Tallahassee, FL
Course: Seminole Legacy Golf Club
