Kate Middleton, 40, stood beside Queen Camilla, 75, for Remembrance Sunday in a beautiful Catherine Walker black gown. The Princess of Wales also wore a large black hat designed by Philip Treacy.
However, it was Kate’s brooch which caught royal fans’ eyes, as the precious jewel had never been seen before on the Princess.
It turns out that the jewel is called the “Art Deco Diamond Set Brooch”, and is from the company Bentley & Skinner.
Royal fan @ufonomore tweeted: “The brooch was for sale in January of 2022 and listed at £14,500.”
The Art deco diamond brooch has a rectangular shape, and according to the brand has an estimated weight of 4.5 carats.

The description for the glamorous jewel says: “A sparkling Art Deco brooch. This brooch is of a classically Art Deco design, with geometric shapes and fine openwork platinum set throughout with lively diamonds.
“This beautiful piece was made in around 1920 and captures the glamour and elegance of the Jazz Age.
“It would look dazzling pinned to a silk scarf or the lapel of a jacket.”
Kate pinned her brooch to her Catherine Walker “Evie Coatdress in Black”, described as a “black military style coatdress with diagonal pintuck details across the chest and shoulder”.
The Princess then chose a Philip Treacy “Large Downturn Hat in Black” while she swept her brunette locks into a tight ponytail.
To accessorise, Kate carried the same clutch bag she brought to the Festival of Remembrance on Saturday.
This was the “Mulberry ‘Bayswater’ Black Suede Clutch”, which is Kate’s most carried bag as a royal, having owned it for nearly a decade.
This elegant clutch bag has an embossed gold-tone turn-key closure at the front.

On the back, there’s a patch pocket for carrying cards or ID.
The shoulder strap is made from woven leather and chain, which can be removed.
Mulberry described the bag on their website: “The Bayswater Clutch Wallet combines an ultra-slim clutch with the versatility of a classic wallet.
“Inside there is a compact but carefully-organised space, with slip and zip pockets and slots for cards, cash, tickets and receipts.
“The chain strap can be tucked inside for an understated, slim-line clutch.”
To further accessorise, Kate paid tribute to her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana, by wearing her statement earrings.
These were her South Sea Pearl Earrings, and the current Princess of Wales wore them earlier this year to attend Ascot.
Diana first wore these at a coronation banquet in Japan in November 1990, and she also wore them at her last ever public engagement in 1997 at the Royal Albert Hall to watch Swan Lake.
