Eric L. Weston, 66, of Anderson, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2022.
He was born on June 23, 1956, in Anderson, to the late Lonnie and Joan (Hollingsworth) Weston.
Eric worked for the Indiana Department of Corrections for 28 years where he retired as a Lieutenant in 2017.
Eric enjoyed many things in his life including fishing, golfing, genealogy, watching sports, and bird watching later on in his life. He had a real passion for bowling, and was even inducted in the Anderson Bowling Hall of Fame. Eric was even a real jokester with his family all the time.
Eric is survived by his loving wife, Lisa Weston; daughters, Courtney Prater, Heather Echols, Kimberley Masters, and Misty (Matt) Boren; stepson, Michael Baker; sisters, Teresa Robertson, and Pamela Spall; sister-in-law, Jennifer (Tim Zion) Troxell; brother-in-law, Douglas (Lynn Reeves) Leakey; nine grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his father and mother-in-law, Keith and Beverly Leakey.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 11, 2022, at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory.
Service will be Monday, Dec. 12, 2022 at noon at the funeral home. His final resting place will be at Anderson Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made out to the National Kidney Foundation or the Anderson Humane Society.
