Emmerdale fans ‘predict’ Cain Dingle murder plot as Caleb make

Emmerdale’s New Year’s Eve episode saw newcomer Caleb Milligan (played by Will Ash) continue to fool the residents as they offered him a warm welcome. He was invited to a party at the pub but was reluctant to attend at first. Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) started questioning his motives after she found out he had spoken to Kyle Winchester (Huey Quinn) ahead of his murder confession.

The New Year’s Eve episode opened with Moira questioning Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) over what he said to Caleb in order to make Kyle confess to killing Al Chapman (Michael Wildman).

Caleb’s presence was started to grate on everyone, including Kyle’s mother Amy Wyatt (Natalie Ann Jamieson), who said Caleb had “destroyed their lives” and she feared her son would be taken away.

Meanwhile, Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) was told the truth about Kyle’s confession, with Moira continuing to question Caleb’s motives as she really did not trust him.

However, when Caleb offered the help of a reputable law firm, Moira had a difficult decision to make.

@itzzzo_ shared: “I don’t get why Moira is so trusting of Caleb already, there’s something off about him. #Emmerdale”

@GBGirly added: “Please not another affair for Moira! #Emmerdale”

@RyanTheSoapking said: “How does Moira know that Caleb can be trusted? She’s known him for only 5 mins. #Emmerdale”

@griannedoherty added: “OMG Moira. WTF has she done now? She barely even knows Caleb, so how the hell can she trust him just like that?

“Not to mention Cain’s totally gonna hit the f****** roof yet again seriously, especially if/when he gets out & effectively goes after Caleb.”

There is a chance Caleb will continue to coerce Moira into going against her husband as an act of revenge.

Blind to his plan, she is likely to drive Cain away even further if he finds out she took Caleb’s side over his.

Emmerdale airs on ITV at 7.30pm
