AJ Pritchard: ‘Help please’ Strictly pro seeks assistance after injury strikes during tour

AJ Pritchard, 25, has revealed he needs “help” for one of the dancers who is part of his AJ Live 2020 tour, just days after the Strictly pro’s show began in Scotland. The Ballroom and Latin dancer, who is embarking on the tour alongside his younger brother and Love Island favourite Curtis Pritchard, 24, took to Instagram to try to find a physiotherapist for his co-star.

In a video which he shared with his 666,000 followers, AJ said: “Hi guys, just a quick one throwing out there. Is there a physio around this area in Glasgow at the SEC Armadillo for one of the dancers?

“I’ve put the email on here for anyone that can come and help. Please just email, thank you very much.”

AJ captioned the post: “Help please. Physio – SEC Armadillo,” alongside an email address.

It seems the performer has not yet resolved the unfortunate situation, as he shared another request for a physiotherapist this morning.

AJ explained to fans from a new location on the tour: “Good morning, if anybody can help with this.

“Does anybody know any good physiotherapists here in Sunderland for today for one of my dancers to help them out? Please can you just email the email here or swipe up for the email. Thank you.”

AJ has not yet disclosed any details of the dancer’s injury.

Earlier in the week, the dancer shared some snaps from his tour preparations just before the cast headed out on the road.

Elsewhere, AJ opened up about being left “crying” after narrowly missing out on a spot in the Strictly final for three years in a row.

Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk, he said: “I keep telling myself every year [that I’m going to win] and then I get there and get to the semi-final and get kicked out and then I’m at the final crying.

“It’s never a nice final for me because I’m not in it competing,” he added, laughing.

AJ – who danced with YouTube star Saffron Barker last year – went on to reveal what he believes is the “hardest” part of the show.
