Joseph and the Technicolour Dreamcoat is based on the Bible story which sees Joseph, a young man, hated by his elder brothers.

He is given a coat by his father, who favours him, but his brothers are furious and sell him into slavery in Egypt.

Joseph is in Egypt but soon is imprisoned after he is framed by his master’s wife, but his ability to interpret dreams to tell of upcoming famine means he climbs the ranks with the Pharaoh.

He is soon in charge of parts of Egypt, only to have his brothers come to him for help in their hour of need.

Of course he has a huge decision to make, and he must decide if he thinks his brothers have changed.
