Animal Crossing New Horizons July Bugs and Fish update ahead of Summer patch

Nintendo has plenty of new things planned for Animal Crossing New Horizons this Summer, starting with a refreshed Bugs and Fish list for the start of July.

With the changing of the seasons, Nintendo likes to release new animals into the wild as well as make other changes to the game.

Later this week, the first big Summer update for Animal Crossing New Horizons will be available to download on Switch.

Fans can look forward to being able to swim and dive for sea creatures, as well as having the chance to interact with new characters.

New items have also been teased, including mermaid-themed furniture, which looks set to be offered by Pascal.

And with the sea playing such a big part in Animal Crossing’s Summer update, it makes sense that Nintendo would want to offer new fish to catch and bug to find.

Animal Crossing New Horizons gamers probably already know that with the start of July will come a revamped list of Fish and Bugs that will be available to catch.

This is tied to the seasonal variants in the Northern and Southern Hemispheres and there is a list below, offering details on what will be available during July:
