One baggage handler who works at a large US airport has lifted the curtain on life behind the check-in desk and revealed a secret tip which could see your suitcase being one of the first to arrive in the baggage hall.
On a Reddit forum, the baggage handler revealed that, despite airport directions to show up ahead of time, showing up late could have its benefits.
“Show up mostly late, but not at the last second,” he wrote.
“Your bag will be stacked on top of the cart, be the first loaded on the plane, be the last loaded off, and the first onto the carousel.
