The show returned from Middlesborough last night with host Fiona Bruce mediating the debate. Ms Bruce was joined by Tory business minister Nadhim Zahawi, Labour shadow health secretary Jon Ashworth and Founder of the Big Issue John Bird.
Daily Mirror Editor and Celebrity divorce lawyer Ayesha Vardag also joined Ms Bruce on the panel.
Topics such as coronavirus, the recent mortality rate statistics, yesterday’s court ruling over Heathrow airport’s expansion and homelessness in Middlesborough were all debated by the panel.
However, Ms Bruce was also roasted by viewers for continually interrupting Mr Zawahi throughout the show.
Many viewers took to Twitter to express their anger at the show and Ms Bruce’s interrogation of the Tory MP.
Some users described her as being “unfair” and “constantly interrupting”.
Others branded Question Time as the “Fiona Bruce show” and said that the host should be “ashamed” for her constant “biased interruptions”.
One Twitter user called Paul said: “I risked, due to not wanting to raise my blood pressure, a look at #bbcqt – bad move it went through the roof.
“That mess of a program should be renamed the Fiona Bruce anti-Tory rant show, constant biased interruptions, so put up with it for 10 mins and then turned it off.”

“If Fiona Bruce actually let’s a Tory MP explain his point without cutting across him it would help a great deal!
“Oh and Jon Ashworth allowed to rabbit on in complete freedom without interruption without challenge! Typical BBC.”
Gloria said: “QT on Thursday night was my favourite program of the week.
“Not any more thanks to Fiona Bruce. My blood boiled as she picked on Tory minister.
“Her overspeaking, bullying and mocking him was disgraceful. Get shut of that smug, BBC left Labourite. David we miss you and your humour.”
