Better Call Saul season 5: Kim Wexler star teases 'surprises' in final episode 1

Ahead of the finale’s premiere, Better Call Saul fans around the globe have been tipping what lies ahead for the likes of Jimmy McGill (played by Bob Odenkirk) and his new wife, Kim Wexler (Rhea Seahorn). However, before it airs on AMC, Rhea has teased fans what they can expect.

WARNING: This article contains spoilers from Better Call Saul season 5.

Heading into the final episode of the season, newlyweds Jimmy and Kim are already facing their fair share of obstacles.

Jimmy returned home following the rollercoaster ride adventure of being Lalo’s (Tony Dalton) bagboy and Kim knows he’s not being 100 percent truthful about the trip.

And Jimmy’s antics during the trip came back to bite him when Lalo ended up holding him and Kim at gunpoint to discover the truth about the mission.

In seriously tense scenes, Kim somehow gained enough composure to talk Jimmy – and herself – out of the situation, for now.

“And as they’ve done this whole season, it’s both what’s happening externally and what’s happening internally with people.

“It’s so much fun as an actor trying to keep up with Kim.

“She’s more complex and a faster thinker than I am, so I’m constantly trying keep up with her!

“And revealing things that I thought were there and discovering other ones that I hadn’t considered.”
