When is Bloodshot released in cinemas?
Bloodshot is released in cinemas in the UK on March 11, which is earlier than many other markets.
Usually, movies are released on a Friday, however Bloodshot will attempt to gain an even bigger “opening weekend” by being released on a Wednesday.
Most of the world will then see the film on March 12 and 13, with some countries being forced to wait until the end of the month.
What is the plot of Bloodshot?
The official synopsis from Sony Pictures reads: “After he and his wife are suddenly assassinated, Marine Ray Garrison (Vin Diesel) is brought back to life by a team of scientists.
“Enhanced with nanotechnology, he becomes a superhuman, biotech killing machine – Bloodshot. As Ray first trains with fellow super-soldiers, he struggles to recall anything from his previous years.
“But when his memories flood back and he remembers the man that killed both him and his wife, he breaks out of the facility hellbent on revenge, only to discover that there’s more between what he originally feels and to a conspiracy.”
Guy Pearce plays Dr Emil Harting, Lamorne Morris plays Wilfred Wigans and Talulah Riley of St Trinian’s fame is Gina DeCarlo.
Supporting characters are also played by Alex Hernandez, Tamer Burjaq and Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson.

At the moment there is not a critical consensus on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, likely because many have not seen the film yet.
