Brian May has already had an incredibly busy year touring with his legendary band Queen and Adam Lambert. The group took original Queen songs to countries such as South Korea, Australia and New Zealand, and May admitted the experience was incredibly exhausting. But once a rock star always a rock star, and the musician, who regularly shares memories of late lead singer Freddie Mercury, continues to perform for his fans from the comfort of his own home.
The star launched his micro concerts earlier this week – a selection of guitar riffing and jamming for fans – and now he’s asking for requests.
So have you got any ideas for the Queen guitarist to perform while most of the UK is stuck self-isolating at home?
Sharing the latest in a long line of videos on his official Instagram page, May posted an explanation of the new rock sound.
The guitarist began: “MicroConcerto Therapy. Opus 2. Just for fun, folks.

“YOU LITERALLY DON’T DO THIS ENOUGH!! We need to quarantine you more often. Outstanding,” another musician praised.
“Maybe 39’ for the last video?” one fan asked.
While another offered: “Yesss!!! Thank you for posting these!! My request: DEATH ON TWO LEGS!”
“the hammer to fall solo?” a third put forward.
A fourth commented: “I would love for you to make a video playing and singing 39 ‘please.”
“Maybe play one of your favourite songs ever?” a fifth suggested, followed by: “Sounds great Brian. Any requests?? Yesterday by the Beatles or Long Away. Both are near and dear to my heart. Don’t give us a chance to ask for songs. You’ll get a ton of choices. Stay well.”
