Hancock responded: “I think you are misjudging the public perception, I care about answering the question.
“You asked me a question and I am going to answer and I would appreciate it if you didn’t interrupt me.
“This is a new virus with a different impact. For instance, PPE, one of the things we didn’t have previously was gowns, not aprons.
“In terms of testing, we were one of the first countries in the world to develop a test, there were 2,000 at the start of March and 10,000 at the end of March.”
