Broadband deal countdown: You’ve only got HOURS to get this awesome discount from Plusnet 1

Not happy with your current broadband bill? Well, you’ve got a few hours left to get one of the cheapest broadband deals we’ve ever seen.

It comes courtesy of low-cost ISP Plusnet, which will give you £75 cashback when you sign-up to its latest offer. If you knock-off the cashback from your monthly bill, it effectively means you’ll be paying £12.74 a month for unlimited internet.

That’s a pretty stunningly cheap deal. But if you want to take advantage, you’ll have to act fast. The Plusnet deal expires midnight tonight, October 22, 2019.

Here’s what’s included and how much it will cost you once the cashback has been applied.

Plusnet Unlimited Boradband • £18.99 per month (12-month contract)

This includes estimated speeds of between 4-10Mbps and you’ll get £75 cashback paid to you.

Equivalent price per month after cashback applied – £12.74 per month

It’s worth noting that estimated speeds of 4 to 10Mbps is pretty slow. This most certainly isn’t fibre broadband, so those with rooms brimming with smart home gadgetry, home security cameras, and Bluetooth locks on doors will want to avoid this package… no matter how tempting the price.

For comparison, Netflix recommends at least a 1.5Mbps connection to watch its content and at least 3Mbps for standard definition quality streaming. If you want 1080p HD, you’ll need at least 5Mbps.

Unfortunately, this Plusnet deal won’t let you access Ultra HD quality (which needs 25Mbps). But it just depends on what your priorities are – and if that priority is price, you won’t find better. All of the deals above also include free activation, UK support and unlimited downloads.

And if you do want some extra boost to your broadband, Plusnet is also offering deals on its faster fibre broadband bundles too.
