Call of Duty Warzone Season 3 release time news
Call of Duty Warzone and Modern Warfare are being updated this week in a big way. COD Season 3 is set to kick-off and we already know about some of the big changes coming to both games. Activision has confirmed that Call of Duty Modern Warfare Season 3 will start on April 8, 2020, on PS4, Xbox One and PC. And we also know more about when Activision is hoping to launch its next Battle Pass, maps and modes.
WHEN IS THE SEASON 3 MODERN WARFARE RELEASE TIME?
We now know that Activision will be launching Quads mode in Call of Duty Warzone on PS4, Xbox One and PC this week.
The official release date for the next Modern Warfare update is April 8, 2020, on all platforms.
But the official Call of Duty Season 3 release time could mean some players getting to access the new content early.
The Daily Express understands that the Call of Duty Warzone Season 3 release time has been set for the evening of April 7, PST, in the United States.
It appears that Activision is keeping things a little fluid due to the extra strain being placed on internet services.
This means that the launch schedule could change for the new Call of Duty Modern Warfare Season 3.
It’s expected that Call of Duty Modern Warfare Season 3 content will go live around 7 am BST in the UK, on April 8.
However, as noted above, things could change and we could see a later launch time on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
WARZONE QUADS CONFIRMED
Activision has confirmed today that Call of Duty Warzone will be updated this week with a new Quads Mode.
As the name suggests, Quads will allow you to drop into games with three other teammates, the largest group size yet.
Quads will be available for Battle Royale and Plunder Modes, which means higher odds for those who lose their teammates.
It also means that in Plunder, you will be able to collect Cash faster with an expanded fire team that can help you complete Contracts more proficiently or tactically eliminate any opposing teams.
Other changes are also coming during Warzone Season 3, with Activision confirming to fans:
“During the Season, expect to see more modes and playlists that change the loot pool to specific weapon types, and high action modes such as ‘Scopes and Scatter Guns’ (only sniper rifles & shotguns), in addition to other surprises.
“Furthermore, ground loot will have a continuous overhaul to diversify the strategies you can take across Warzone.
“Of note, expect to see every weapon type with a silenced and non-silenced variant, allowing squads to kit themselves for silent operations… or for that final “guns blazing” shootout at the end of a Battle Royale.
“Like additional playlists, be on the lookout for the introduction of new weapons and blueprints in Supply Boxes and ground loot to Verdansk and stay tuned for additional meta updates as the Warzone further evolves.”
