Cleaning: Mrs Hinch shares amazing oven hack to remove years worth of grease and dirt

Alternatively, kitchen scourers can be picked up very cheaply but it is important to make sure they are non-scratch ones.

The Pink Stuff paste is a £1 cleaning paste that can get rid of dirt and grime while leaving an amazing fragrance.

It can be bought for as little as 89p and is now sold in most supermarkets.

Sophie also uses the product to clean her hob as well as the kitchen sink too.

The product is very versatile and can be used on stainless steel taps, work surfaces and to clean hobs.

One Mrs Hinch fan posted on Facebook how she removed burnt food and dirt off of her oven racks.

Posting on the Facebook group Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips, the woman revealed how she cleaned her oven racks in the bath using dishwasher tablets.

She wrote: “Firstly wrap your racks in tin foil. Place in the bath with two dishwasher tablets and cover in hot water. Leave overnight.”

The dishwasher tablets and tinfoil react with each other, enabling the tablet to soften the dirt build up on the oven racks.

Once removed in the morning, wipe down the oven racks with a cloth to ensure all the liquid has disappeared before placing them back into the oven.

Then turn on your oven for around an hour without actually using it to make sure all the cleaning products used have dispursed.

Ovens should be cleaned out regularly but spot cleaning after every use can be useful to ensure that food doesn’t become stuck to the racks or bottom of the oven.
