Cleaning is not everyone’s favourite job. Cleaning windows can seem like an endless and unsatisfying task marred by endless streaks.
Now a cleaning hack for getting windows sparkling clean has been shared by a journalist.
Telegraph writer Camilla Tominey, an associate editor at the paper, shared the tip on her Twitter account.
She wrote to her 41,000 followers: “#Lockdown cleaning discovery – putting a bit of fabric softener in your window washing water gives a streak free finish. That is all.”
She went on to reveal the tip cam to her via professional help.

Katie Gracie runs an account called “Cleaning Obsessed” and she showed her radiator hacks.
She starts by applying The Pink Stuff onto an electric Sonic Scrubber made famous by Mrs Hinch.
The Pink Stuff paste is one of Mrs Hinch’s favourite cleaning products because the product is so versatile and can be used on many different appliances.
Another fan revealed cleaning tips to unblock your sink.
Posting on the Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips Facebook group which has over 500,000 members, one woman revealed the easiest way to unblock your kitchen sink.
She wrote: “Don’t buy expensive cleaning products/ tools to clean blocked plug holes, a couple of cheap cable ties easily do to job.
“Put two cable ties together and cut diagonal slits on each side of the tie, and hey ho job done.”
