What is the best way to lower your chance of catching the coronavirus?
According to a panel of medical experts at the University of Arizona, US, some of the simplest prevention methods are the best ones.
Officials advise regularly washing your hands with soap and water, as well as avoiding direct contact with infected people.
David Salafsky, co-executive director of the University of Arizona Campus Health Service, said: “Spread facts, not fear; practice compassion and wash your hands.”
Kelly Reynolds, a University of Arizona professor, said: “We’ve done a lot of studies about how viruses are transmitted in public arenas, and handwashing is at the top of the list in terms of prevention.”
