Coronation Street ‘s Yasmeen Nazir (Shelley King) is terrified that she will be sent down for a long time for attacking her husband Geoff Metcalfe.
Their friends and family are starting to realise that Geoff was secretly abusing her, but it may be too late for Yasmeen as she prepares to give her plea.
But fans think that it could be Eileen who will save Yasmeen, as she saw Geoff lock her in the house on the night she slashed him with a bottle.
After Eileen and Cathy defended Yasmeen to Sally tonight, viewers took to social media to ask when Eileen would reveal the altercation that she witnessed.
One wrote: “I would want Eileen and Cathy fighting my corner, that’s for sure.”
Another added: “Has Eileen told anybody officially like the police or yasmeen lawyer that she saw Geoff lock her in the house?!”
A third chipped in: “When is Eileen going to tell Alya Tim and Sally and the police about Geoff locking in Yasmeen?”
A fourth wrote: “The police need to dig deeper than what is on the surface. I think Eileen and Cathy will come to help Yasmeen when they have realised all the signs were there of domestic abuse.”
Will she come forward with her information, swaying the jury into realising Yasmeen is a victim of domestic abuse?
Meanwhile, Alya was left horrified as Yasmeen finally told her that Geoff secretly killed her beloved pet chicken Charlotte Bronte and tricked her into eating it.
Alya tried her best to make Yasmeen see that Geoff had actually been abusing her for years, and it seems she has finally realised the truth.
At the end of the episode, Yasmeen stood in the dock as she was asked to make her plea for attempting to kill Geoff.
As his abusive jibes ran through her head, Yasmeen struggled to make a decision about what she should do.
Will Eileen stop Yasmeen from going to prison as she pleads not guilty?
Corrie continues on Wednesday at 7.30pm on ITV.
