“You will then be required to quarantine for seven days in a designated facility,” states the FCDO.
Though the cost of this is currently covered for Britons, the FCDO warns: “Third country nationals are required to cover the cost of this themselves.”
In some extreme circumstances, travellers may face quarantine even if they have not tested positive themselves.
“All travellers should be aware that if other passengers on your flight subsequently test positive on arrival to Cyprus, you may be subject to further quarantine/self-isolation measures,” adds the FCDO.
