Dianne Buswell, 30, was left feeling disappointed after her and her boyfriend Joe Sugg’s live Jive dance class couldn’t raise funds for the NHS during the coronavirus pandemic. The couple were attempting to take part in the #YouTubers4NHSHeroes campaign by broadcasting the live video.
The aim of the campaign is for YouTube stars to donate their advertising income from one video of their choice to be uploaded on Super Saturday, which takes place today, to support NHS Charities Together.
However, in spite of Dianne and Joe’s good intentions, the former was “upset” to discover that YouTube have deemed it not appropriate for advertising.
The Strictly Come Dancing professional opened up about the situation in an Instagram story clip, which she shared with her 848,000 followers this afternoon.
Dianne explained: “Hi guys, I just wanted to let you all know the Jive workout we did this morning, the one that’s raising money for the NHS, of all days today, I’m so upset.”(sic)

She continued: “YouTube have deemed it not appropriate for advertising, which it completely is, it’s just one of those things that had to happen today, of course on this particular video.
“I’m so sorry, I’m getting it looked at now and hopefully very soon this will all be resolved, but I can’t believe it’s actually happened on this video.”
The star continued: “Once we get it back and running I’ll let you guys know and hopefully we can raise some money for the NHS.
“I also left a link on the description box if anyone wanted to click there and donate some money anyway.
“So come and join me at 5.30 on my YouTube channel and all proceeds will go to the NHS, so I’m going to make sure that this one has adverts and we will get the proceeds for this one to go to the NHS.”
Before the pair began their dance themed workout session, Joe also shared his excitement for the project in view of his five million Instagram followers.
The YouTuber filmed Dianne setting up her camera and said: “We’re about to get our Jive on, here we go, come and join!”
Joe and Dianne met when they were paired up together on Strictly Come Dancing in 2018 and confirmed their relationship after they reached the BBC show’s final.
