However, that wasn’t the only surprise the EastEnders actress had for the Loose Women panel as the 43-year-old surprised everyone by announcing she had given birth. The star, who is best known for playing Kim Fox, revealed she had welcomed a baby boy while on a break from the soap.
Tameka joined the Loose Women panel via video link along with her co-star Diane Parish who plays on-screen sister Denise Fox.
The pair were talking about the EastEnders sisters reuniting but talk quickly turned to Tameka’s new arrival.
She told panelists Judi Love, Nadia Swahala, Gloria Hunniford and Kaye Adams, he was a “loud” baby.
“I’ve been contributing to the human race… I have a baby boy, a bouncing baby boy,” she announced.
Away from the baby talk, Tameka explained fans will see her back on screen as Kim Fox by the end of the year.
She explained: “By the end of the year, stay tuned! Not quite sure just yet, but I’ll be back!”
While she will be back fighting with Denise, Tameka explained it’s hard not being able to hold her co-star.
“You realise just how much you’ve missed each other,” the actress added.
It comes after it was announced on Tuesday Tameka would be reprising her role as Kim.
This Morning’s soap expert Sharon Marshall explained: “The great news is that Tameka is going to be back filming soon.
“I don’t think she’s been on the set since last year, and I’ve really missed the sisterly relationship between Denise and Kim.”
Will husband Vincent Hubbard be with her?
