This happens when a customer’s phone number is transferred without the account holder’s knowledge allowing swindlers to intercept calls and gain unauthorised access to online accounts. A checker feature allows businesses to know when a customer’s SIM was last changed, potentially indicating fraud, while a Digital Divert feature confirms no call diversions have been made.
A Know Your Customer service can identify a phone that has been lost or stolen, saving time on further verification checks.
