Weighing in at over 20GB+ on all platforms, wasteland wanderers can now get their hands on the latest Fallout 76 update.
The new patch may be chunky but it comes with a few notable tweaks and additions that gamers will want to know about.
This includes the launch of One Wasteland, Daily Ops, Legendary Perks, and the start of the second Fallout 76 Season.
There are also new bug fixes and features that have been revealed as part of the Fallout 76 update 22 patch notes.
For those that might have missed the recent previews, One Wasteland is a large change for the game which allows creatures to dynamically adjust their levels up or down on the fly to more closely match each player they encounter.
However, if multiple players all come across the same enemy at the same time, its level will simultaneously rise for the higher-level players and drop for the lower-level players.
The only downside to this is that the loot they drop and the XP they award, will also better match each player.
Bethesda wants to make it easier for gamers to group up and One Wastlenad should make it possible for all players to have an impact during combat encounters, even if there is a large level gap between them.
One Wasteland should also make it easier to explore the map without being destroyed by high-level enemies blocking your path.
Fallout 76 Season 2 has also launched today and is focused on the new “Armor Ace” storyline, with Bethesda telling fans earlier this month:
“When Season 2 arrives, it will bring the new “Armor Ace” S.C.O.R.E.board to Fallout 76. You’ll join Armor Ace and the Power Patrol in their march of freedom against the dreaded Subjugator and his army of Red Viper minions.
“Help lead the charge against the oppressive Vipers and fight for Liberty as you rank up over the following 10-weeks.
“With each rank you achieve, you will unlock new rewards, like themed cosmetics, C.A.M.P. items, in-game currencies, Perk Card Packs, and more.
“As with The Legendary Run, there will be 100 ranks for you to achieve during our second Season, each featuring a different reward for the taking. This time, we’re adding a host of brand-new cosmetics, including Armor Ace Power Armors, Red Viper Armors, weapon skins, a Greenhouse Building set for those of you with a penchant for plants, and even some leisurely activities for your C.A.M.P. visitors to enjoy, like the Foosball Table and the Armor Ace Shooting Gallery.”
