Flights: Turkey was voted one of the top ten value for money destinations for Britons
Turkey was also listed as one of the best value for money locations to visit this year.
The research by holiday price comparison site TravelSupermarket searched across the package holiday market and discovered the top ten affordable all-inclusive packages for British holidaymakers.
Turkey was listed as the seventh-best location for travellers who want to get more for their money thanks to its array of all-inclusive resort options.
No one resort stood out as a clear winner, which means holidaymakers have plenty of options to chose from.
It’s good news for the nation, which was in a state of panic following the collapse of Thomas Cook which flew droves of Britons to the holiday hotspot each year.
The country feared it would lose between 600,000 and 700,000 tourists annually.
Luckily, holiday competitor TUI took on 30 of Thomas Cook’s Turkish resorts following the company’s collapse.
Meanwhile, an increased schedule from airlines means more options for travellers to reach the destination.
