Flights see hordes of travellers pass through an airport, many of whom will have to wait for their flight. It can undeniably be frustrating to have to loiter around and try to occupy yourself. One plane passenger proved to be very enterprising with his choice of pre-flight entertainment last week.
A photo of the incident on Thursday captured him engrossed in the game, a pair of headphones on his head.
He has drawn a chair up to the screen to play while the screen he has commandeered clearly shows a game underway.
A PlayStation box can be seen on the floor with wires plugged into the computer.
According to an airport spokesperson, staff asked him to unplug the PlayStation.
The man – whose name is not known – then asked if he could finish the game first but the request was denied.
However, he then acquiesced and unplugged the console.
“At 4.35am on Thursday, Jan 16, operations staff approached a traveller at PDX who had plugged his gaming console to a video monitor displaying airport information (eg map, restroom location, concessions, etc.),” Portland Airport spokesperson Kama Simonds told Express.co.uk.
“Apparently he had used local buttons on the monitor to change the input from VGA to HDMI so he could plug in his console.
