The Fortnite Season 11 map has leaked ahead of the Season 10 in-game event.
According to a new leak on the Italian app store, Epic Games is getting ready to unleash Fortnite Chapter 2.
As you can see from the image below, the new season will take place on a brand new map.
It’s hard to get a feel for what the whole map will look like, but there are streams running throughout and a big POI in the centre.
The classic Fortnite characters can all be seen gazing at the new map from atop a hill.
If you look really carefully, you can even see a few boats whizzing around the map.
The appearance of the new map seems to confirm an existing theory that Epic will destroy the existing map as part of an in-game event on October 13.
Interestingly, instead of Season 11, it looks like the name will be changed to Fortnite Chapter 2.
This would suggest that the new map will usher in a new era, perhaps with ten seasons of map evolutions.
In the run up to Season 11 (or Chapter 2), Epic has started to release a series of teasers.
With the end of season event just a few days away, sirens have started blaring around Dusty Depot.
This – alongside an in-game countdown clock – is there to warn players of the imminent rocket launch.
The latest Fortnite event for season X is kicking off at 7pm UK time on Sunday October 13, so tune in to watch the rocket launch live.
Epic has even been sending out emails to fans to make sure they witness the big event.
Fans have been having fun of their own ahead of the map being destroyed.
As you can see from this post on Reddit, streamer TheSquatingDog has teamed up with fellow fans to destroy the entire Fortnite map.
The stream ends with an aerial look at a map stripped of all its buildings.
Presumably this is what we’ll see once the rocket launches and destroys everything on Sunday.
