The coin – which will bear the message: “Peace, prosperity and friendship with all nations’’ – will go into circulation on Friday to commemorate Britain’s departure from the European Union. Sajid Javid, chancellor of the exchequer, has expressed his hope that the coin will mark “the beginning of this new chapter.”
But some have stated that they will refuse to use it, while others have said they will boycott the coin altogether.
Now Mr Morgan has ridiculed the dissidents in a brilliant tweet.
To his 7.1m followers he said: “I love how demented Remoaners are getting about a 50p coin. It’s been worth Boris doing it just to see them losing their sh*t. Again.”
The post has gone down well with online users, gaining 5.6k likes and around 600 retweets so far.
And many have been quick to comment.
One said: “They never went crying when the other 2 50p’s came out to celebrate the sh**ty E.U.”
Another commented: “The icing on the cake would of been [sic] Nigel Farage on the coin or Boris.”
A third commented: “It’s just great watching the intolerant remoaner left meltdown over brexit and a huge conservative majority.

Meanwhile Labour peer Lord Adonis wrote: “I am never using or accepting this coin.”
It comes as Morgan was shut down by his co-host Susanna Reid on their show Good Morning Britain after he went on a rant about Hugh Grant’s latest comments about Brexit.
Grant spoke about the UK’s impending exit from the EU and he labeled it a “catastrophe,” before stating “the country is finished.”
The actor’s comments riled Morgan up so much he went on a huge rant during his show.
Reid then said: “No you’re obsessed with Hugh Grant.
“I don’t want to talk about Hugh Grant anymore.”
But Morgan snapped back with: “Susanna’s got a new trick where she dismisses any of my criticisms of people because she says I’m obsessed with all of them.”
