GMB's Ben Shephard scrambles as interview is abruptly cut off by blaring music

Good Morning Britain host Ben Shephard was left red-faced after an awkward blunder caused guest to be interrupted by loud music.

The ITV host, 45, was left flustered during the interview with Jason Watkins as the actor was abruptly cut off mid-sentence in the cringeworthy blunder.

Music began to play as a red-faced Ben said: “Sorry we’re going to have to stop you there, we’re out of time. Lorraine next.”

Viewers were outraged as they branded the gaffe “rude” as the music interrupted Jason, who explaining his work with a mental health charity during the coronavirus pandemic.

One said: “Wow! That was rude @GMB cutting Jason Watkins off mid sentence. Why bother asking him a question about his charity work for mental health if you knew you were ending the show?”

While another wrote: “Such a pity that @GMB just cut off @Jason__Watkins as he was talking about the children’s bereavement charity he’s a patron of – important messages being given.”

A third added: “#GMB f***ing hell someone finally says something worth listening to and you play the music over him and lead him off.”
