Friday night saw the latest series of Gogglebox come to an end with a celebrity edition hitting television screens next week. While the likes of Harry Redknapp and his wife Sandra, Zoe Ball and her son Woody Cook, and Joe Swash and Stacey Solomon will be appearing on the show next week, fans were saddened to hear Jenny and Lee won’t make an appearance on the Channel 4 series until much later in the year.
Ahead of the season 15 final episode, the pair shared a farewell photo on their Twitter account.
The shot showed the pair’s empty couch as the final episodes was a best bits instalment.
They captioned the photo: “Empty couch folks but it’s still #Gogglebox Friday.
“Who’s going to watch the best bits of series 15 its on tonight @C4Gogglebox 9pm so we can all reminisce together laugh, cry that’s Gogglebox for you.”

The friends went on to tell their 173,200 followers: “Enjoy Goggleboxers see you all in September much love JAL xx.”
With the news that Jenny and Lee won’t be back until September, fans rushed to express their sadness.
“Gogglebox was the only thing to look forward to and make us laugh. That sofa doesn’t look right without you guys on it. Best bits it is then,” one viewer tweeted.
Another added: “My Friday night’s won’t be the same without you two xx.”
It is believed that Jenny has moved back in with her partner while Lee is preparing to reunite with his boyfriend in Cyprus once the lockdown eases.
The normal edition of Gogglebox came to an end as the seven-part celebrity edition will take it’s place from Friday 5 June.
Harry Redknapp and his wife Sandra, Laura Whitmore and Iain Stirling, Zoe Ball and her son Woody Cook and Nicola Adams and her partner Ella will be joining the series.
Returning stars from the previous season include Nick and Liv Grimshaw, Denise Van Outen and her partner Eddie and Joe Swash and Stacey Solomon.
