Gordon Ramsay gags as he gets pooed on while milking a cow for television show

Gordon Ramsay has proved why the saying “never work with children and animals” is still relevant today.

The 53-year-old chef may be an expert in the kitchen but when it comes to farming things can take an unexpected turn.

In a clip from the second series of National Geographic travel series, Gordon Ramsay: Uncharted, the television star finds himself in a tricky situation.

The international restauranteur has a turn at milking a cow while on the look out for the finest cut of beef on the Indonesian island of Sumatra.

Gordon gets down onto his hands and knees to begin milking, only for the animal to begin emptying its bowels at a very close vicinity.

If things weren’t bad enough, the cow then flicks its tail, covering the outspoken chef in its faeces.

“Bloody hell,” a horrified Gordon yells before quickly crawling away from the animal.

Elsewhere in Sunday’s upcoming episode, the F Word star hikes to the site of Pacu Jaws, the Indonesian version of a bull run.

The tradition began over 400 years ago to mark the end of the rice harvest, and the event still takes place today.

After having no luck with bulls, Gordon tries to take part in the run but he is defied by the species once again.

In the National Geographic series, Gordon travels to some of the most incredible and remote locations on Earth in search of culinary inspiration, epic adventures and cultural experience he will never forget.

The first season of the American television series featuring the British personality aired last year.

The season season premiered earlier this month and is currently airing on National Geographic Network.

Elsewhere in the show, Gordon is forced to swim through a sea of sharks.

He was forced to jump from a helicopter when it could not land on the sand, before plunging through the waves to the shore in South Africa.

Soaking wet on the beach, Gordon told the camera: “Jumping out of a helicopter into a ferocious sea, laced with sharks, to get to the beach.”

Gordon has been spending the coronavirus epidemic in his second home in Cornwall much to the dismay of some residents, who accused him of breaking lockdown rules while there.

Gordon Ramsay: Uncharted airs on National Geographic on Sunday at 10pm
