Big claims have been made about the next Grand Theft Auto game in 2019, with GTA 6 rumoured to be returning the series to Vice City.
It has also been claimed that GTA 6 will be a timed PS5 launch exclusive, that it will only be for next-gen consoles and be set in the 70s and 80s.
As fans wait for official word on GTA 6 they have spotted something curious which could show Rockstar Games are getting ready for the next GTA game.
As revealed in a post on Reddit, Rockstar Games has allegedly registered a domain for GTA 6 ahead of the game’s release.
The Redditor said the GTAVI.com domain was registered in 2006, before being updated in 2018 and with it set to expire next year.
The Reddit user posted: “Some info: I looked up info on the domain registry and found out that: Rockstar own GTAVI.com, but not GTA6.com.
“GTAVI.com was registered by rockstar: 2006-05-12 (12th May 2006) GTAVI.com was updated 10th April 2018 GTAVI.com expires on 12th May 2020.
“The GTAVI domain isn’t installed and just shows ads which aren’t in any relation to Rockstar or the service provider.”
