Hair loss treatment: New hair loss prevention service could be delivered to your home

A new hair loss solutions company, Sons, are on a mission to provide affordable and personalised hair care for men. It’s estimated that 6.5 million guys are currently suffering from hair loss. Are you one of them?

Dr Knut Moe – the Medical Director at Sons – revealed a shocking statistic.

“Male pattern hair loss is something that nearly 80 percent of men will experience to some degree in their lifetime,” he said.

Dr Moe explained it’s caused by an “inherited susceptibility to dihydrotestosterone” (DHT).

Within a couple of minutes, members will have access to their personalised plan.

Discreetly delivered to your door each month, the monthly subscription offers hair care products created to maintain hair growth and prevent hair loss.

Co-founded by a couple of friends down the pub, businessman Will Kennedy and Dr Adrian Gilbane got real about their own hair loss.

Fed up of the hair loss jargon and conflicting advice, they decided to keep things simple.

The company offers a range of products that contain Minoxidil, Finasteride, and Biotin.

Dr Moe commented: “Medication such as Finasteride and Minoxidil are proven to be effective in approximately 90 percent of men with mild to moderate hair loss.”

This safe and effective treatment has been extensively researched, and their combined effect is even more powerful.

Dr Moe noted that “the combined treatment” – offered in Son’s service – gives the “best results”.

Finasteride

Taken in tablet form, this is the recommended treatment for male pattern hair loss.

It works by inhibiting the activity of “Type II 5-alpha reductase” – the enzyme responsible for converting testosterone into DHT.

“Finasteride will lower the tissue DHT levels by about 66 percent,” commented the ISHRS.

In order for treatments to work, they have to be continuously used – you could save your time and effort by signing up to Sons.
