Hand luggage packing for flights can be much harder if you’re travelling with low-cost airlines such as easyJet and Ryanair. The two have very strict rules regarding how much plane passengers can bring on board. With such a strict hand luggage allowance, savvy packing is important.
Caitlin Roberts, a Master KonMari Consulant and the owner of Los Angeles-based Minimise With Purpose, has revealed a key packing no-no if limited with space in hand luggage.
Roberts explained that it’s well worth steering clear of “statement fashion pieces.”
This is because versatility is key when you can only pack a few items.
You will want clothes you can mix and match and wear more than once.
“In regards to clothing, you may elect to leave behind statement fashion pieces in favour for comfort-chic items that can last all day,” Roberts told Refinery29.
A similar rule applies to toiletries and beauty products.
It’s advisable to bring your favourite items you know you’ll use throughout the trip.
“Bring the items that you love to use every day,” the Master KonMari Consulant recommended.
