Hand luggage: Ryanair reveals passengers should always pack this in savvy tip 1

Ryanair hand luggage can be difficult to pack due to the limited allowance. Passengers are only allowed a small personal bag onboard for free. This must fit under the seat in front of you.

They explained that packing one thing in particular in your baggage could prove a boon.

Ryanair recommend packing a bag inside your hand luggage.

“Do pack a lightweight, foldable bag inside your carry-on luggage,” explained the Irish carrier.

“If you’re asked to hand over your carry-on luggage to check-in crew at the last minute because the overhead lockers are full, you’ll have somewhere to stash your phone, e-reader, money, snacks and any other valuables you can’t live without during the flight.

DON’T MISS

“This small bag can then be placed under the seat in front of you.”

For those who are trying to cram as much into their hand luggage bag as possible, Ryanair has other tricks.

They explain that the order you pack everything in can help.

“Do pack your shoes first, lining the sides of your case,” said Ryanair.
