Countryfile star Helen Skelton, 36, has recalled the shocking moment a challenge on SAS: Who Dares Wins resulted in her injuring her fellow contestant Nikki Sanderson, 36. The pair were challenged to fight on the show, but the result came as a shock to them both.
Detailing what happened, she said: “I had to fight Nikki and that was tough because I really like her.
“She hit me a lot and I only hit her a couple of times, but when I did she was like, ‘Oh my God, I think you’ve broken my nose’.
“I might have only hit her a couple of times but I connected.
“It’s so weird having to fight someone you like, I didn’t want to hit her, then she hit me once and I was like, ‘OK!’”

The Channel 4 show sees Ant Middleton and special forces soldiers put celebrities through a recreation of the SAS selection process.
As well as boxing, celebrities also faced challenges such as jumping from a helicopter into a lake.
Helen said she thought she would enjoy the latter challenge, but instead found the experience “horrific”.
She added to The Sun: “All I could think about was what would happen to my life if I broke my neck. It was terrifying.
Elsewhere, the mother-of-two has been working from home as she self-isolates with her family amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Last week, she addressed an awkward moment which occurred during a video call with her team.
The Countryfile star shared a selfie with her 150,000 with the caption: “Note to self….
“Working remotely doesn’t mean you can curse your boss because it’s likely said boss, and bosses boss will be “listening”’ in on teams or zoom or whatever, while you try and master a new set of skills it’s assumed you understand.”
