Hollyoaks fans devastated as Kyle takes his own life in heartbreaking scenes

Hollyoaks viewers were left in floods of tears tonight as Kyle Kelly (Adam Rickitt) took his own life in heartbreaking scenes.

Kyle gave his finacée Nancy, Oscar and Charlie a perfect day during Monday’s first look episode but it ended in tragedy.

He treated his family to a day of films, whisked Nancy to an romantic meal at The Hutch and booked for them all to go on a dream trip to Disneyland Paris.

During their sweet date, Kyle and Nancy reminded about the first time they met and they both agreed to work on their rocky relationship.

However, things took a turn for the worst when Nancy was called away from their romantic meal by Jack who was babysitting Oscar.

Kyle told Nancy he loved her before he brought out Oscar’s family tree and closed all the blinds in the restaurant.

Kyle’s death was not shown on screen but his boy was found inside The Hutch by pal Darren Osborne.

Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: “I am devastated. So sad.”

Another added: “OMG That was so sad.”

A third posted: “I am crying. I’ve got tears.”

A fourth said: “OMG I am crying my eyes out.”

Kyle was not the only villager struggling with depression.

Showing two very different ways in which mental health can affect men in their 30s, Darren Osborne (Ashley Taylor-Dawson) managed to open up about his depression and admitted to his friend Luke Morgan about that he’s depressed.

Luke brushed off his comments and was adamant that Darren was being over dramatic, telling him he has nothing to be sad about.

Darren later left Kyle a voicemail apologising and saying he was right about not telling other people.

Kyle was left feeling alone last week after Darren decided to stop helping Kyle to focus on his own mental health struggles.

Darren went to find his pal to chat to him and he found him dead in The Hutch.

Will Darren blame himself himself for Kyle’s death?
