2. Freeze candle wax
Another method to remove wax from candles it to use the freezer.
Cold causes wax to harden and shrink, which in turn making it easier to remove.
First, use a butter knife — or a spoon if your wax is soft — to break up any large bits of wax which are in the container.
Then, put the candle in the freezer for several hours or until it is frozen.
The wax should fall right out of the container, but you can also loosen it with a butter knife if necessary.
Finally, scrape out any residue and then clean the jar with soap and water.
