Internet horrified by couple eating and drinking through their face mask

A couple filmed eating their meal and drinking beer through their face masks has seriously creeped out the internet.

The unsettling scenes unfolded at a Carrabba’s Italian Grill restaurant in the US over the weekend.

It was first caught on camera by TikTok user, who wrote in the video caption: “Dinner date, but make it safe.”

The middle-aged couple are seen wearing face masks while having a meal and drinks in the video.

The grey-haired man eats the spaghetti through a special cutting on the face mask and the woman is seen drinking a glass of wine without taking off the face mask.

The man was caught filming when the woman turned around while having a drink through the mask

At one point, the woman struggles to put a straw into her mouth as she almost pierces it through the face mask.

While they clearly have good intentions, the couple accidentally end up transforming into something out of a horror film.

They pair continue to eat until the woman suddenly turns around and looks at Gray.

Gray and his sister quickly look away and stop recording.

A viewer said: “This is seriously terrifying.”

“This is smart but scary at the same time,” another one added.

Some pointed out that the video may just have been a stunt and the couple were actually his parents.

“It’s his parents,” one viewer wrote. “I can confirm, just look at his other videos.”

Another said: “‘Hey let’s record my parents eating with their masks on and pretend they’re strangers for a video’.”

Gray replied in the comments confirming the stunt, adding: “This is exactly what happened except it was my parents’ idea.”
