Janette Manrara: 'Split the house into two' Strictly pro in home life admission with Aljaz 1

Strictly Come Dancing professional Janette Manrara, 36, has admitted that she and her co-star husband Aljaž Škorjanec, 30, have different ways of tackling the coronavirus lockdown. The dancer, who has announced she is returning to the competition this year with her spouse, has revealed that their decision wasn’t on purpose.

While speaking to fellow pro dancer Dianne Buswell, 30, on an Instagram live about keeping “a routine” during the coronavirus lockdown, Janette opened up about her current living situation with Aljaz.

It all began after Janette said: “Every conversation that I have had so far, people always keep bringing up the word routine, but it’s so important to have that routine.”

Agreeing, Dianne then added: “It really is, definitely.

“I think that’s what keeps you sane and feeling like it’s still a bit normal.”

The American choreographer then asked her friend: “How are you and Joe [Sugg]?

“Because I know that Aljaz and I, in isolation, not even on purpose but we’ve kind of split the house into two.”

After she explained her situation, the Strictly star then reassured Janette and revealed that she and her boyfriend Joe Sugg, 28, have been doing the same thing.

Dianne said: “Oh, that’s what we do!

Writing to her 337,000 followers, Janette said: “Not quite there yet, but working on it. Haha!

“I’ve always LOVED singing, but dancing always took over. Working on my singing during this time & I’ve always wanted to sing this song (love @adele! What a voice!).”

The Miami-born dancer then continued to write: “Then I realised, this song is quite relevant at the moment for us all.

“Times are tough & I know a lot of us could use a hug right now, I hope this little snippet of today’s practice provides at least some virtual love & comfort from me.”
