The Democrat nominee for the 2020 US Presidential election appeared to misread the teleprompter during an interview. Mr Biden stated that he got to the Senate “180 years-ago” and seemed unaware that he had made the mistake.
Mr Biden said: “That is why I have made it a priority my entire career to work closely with you.
“From the time I got to the Senate 180 years ago.
“As well as my tenure as Vice President.”
Some viewers took to social media to discuss the blunder.

Darren Grimes tweeted: “Almighty God.”
Another said: “Biden can’t even read from a teleprompter.
“How can we expect him to deal with Xi, Putin, Kim Jung-un?”
A third wrote: “This guy is in no way, shape or form functional enough to serve as POTUS.
“I get that he was reading a Teleprompter but that fact that he didn’t catch that is extremely concerning.”
Earlier this month a US political commentator told Express.co.uk that Donald Trump is fortunate to be up against Joe Biden in the 2020 US Presidential election.
Jadan Horyn stated that Mr Biden is prone to errors and has made a ‘gag reel’ worth of mistakes in front of voters in the past.
Mr Horyn said: “He is prone to errors and I think that it is fortuitous that he is the Democratic nominee.”

“I think it is fortuitous that coronavirus has allowed Biden to stay out of the spotlight and to not have unenforced errors.
“I think the President would be quite happy if Biden had to meet with voters because when he does that, he yells at them and insults them.
“You can do gag reels of Biden doing very bad things with voters that in this type of electoral climate would be magnified if he were doing that.
“Honestly, I think it is a mixed bag.”
