Kelvin Fletcher, 36, hit out at shoppers who are panic-buying essentials at the supermarket amid the coronavirus pandemic online today.
The former Emmerdale star took to his social media platform to speak directly to his followers about an episode he witnessed at the shops.
The father-of-two held his youngest child in his arms as he questioned shoppers’ motives for bulk buying certain items.
Speaking directly to the camera, he asked his 363,000 followers why everyone is stockpiling toilet roll.
He said: “So, just having a think, obviously there is hardly anything in the supermarkets, why? I don’t know.
“Panic-buying is making it so much worse. Some selfish people out there.
“But, the one thing I don’t get, why is everyone buying toilet roll?”
Confused, he continued: “There is literally no toilet roll, why is everyone buying toilet roll?”
The Strictly champion went on to tell his followers about his recent shopping experience.
He added: “I saw someone with the boot open and their boot was full of toilet rolls, I don’t get it.”
“Can someone please tell me?” he asked.
Kelvin’s post follows fellow soap star Jack P Shepherd’s trip to the supermarket, which he documented online last night.
The Coronation Street actor stocked up on wine and bread at the shops to get him through a period of self-isolation and social distancing.
