“I really don’t know what all of the problems are,” Hamilton said. “Obviously they tell us to stay off the kerbs but I don’t believe it’s the suspension, for example, which is usually [impacted] from the kerbs. I think it’s something else.
“I don’t know whether they’re going to be able to fix it in four days but I wouldn’t put it past my team. They’re such intelligent and hard-working people. I’m sure they’ll already be working right now to find a solution. Whether or not we can bring it to the next one, we’ll wait and see.”
Hamilton will return to the Red Bull Ring next Sunday for the Styrian Grand Prix as part of F1’s revamped 2020 calendar.
