Lidl has revealed the best time to shop in the stores across the UK. In a handy infographic Lidl has shown when it quietest.

For the time being, staff will be putting bakery items in the bath ahead of time.

This will give shoppers the option to pick each item individually.

Opening hours have generally stayed the same across stores, but some may have reduced hours.

However, most stores are open 8am to 10pm Monday to Sunday and 11am to 5pm on Sunday.

Protections screens will be installed for customers and shoppers and staff will be given protective visors.

To help shop safely, the contactless card limit has been raised to £45.

Shoppers are being encouraged to pay with card, and not cash.

Supermarkets have reacted to coronavirus by enforcing social distancing.

Others have created food boxes to help Britons buy what he need with easy.

This includes Morrisons delivery boxes, which are proving popular.

Morrisons Ramadan box will help Muslims get what they need before the religious celebration begins.

The new “Ramadan Essentials Box” is being launched as Muslim customers prepare for a month of religious observation, due to start later this week.

The box includes core staples such as dates and chicken breast fillets, making Ramadan at home easier for customers.

Morrison and Asda have changed their opening times amid the crisis.

A post on Morrisons Twitter said: “From Monday 14th April, the majority of our stores will be open from 7am – 10pm on Monday to Saturday, and 9.30am – 4pm on Sunday.”

“Scottish stores are open 8am – 8pm on Sunday.”

Asda said: “Most of our stores are now open for longer to allow you more time to shop with us – stores will now be open Monday – Saturday 8am – 10pm.

“Normal Sunday trading hours will remain the same.”
