Police officers were called to Abbeville Road, in Clapham, at 5.26 today following reports of a shooting.
Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service attended the incident with officers.
A man in his 20s was found with shotgun injuries, which have been assessed as non life-threatening.
He was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital, police confirmed.

Lambeth Police tweeted: “Police are currently at the scene of a non-fatal shooting in Abbeville Road, #Lambeth.
“A man was found injured at about 5.30pm.
“He has been taken to hospital and his injuries have been assessed as non life-threatening.
“Any witnesses can call police on 101, quoting CAD 5784/26jul”
London has seen a string of shootings recently
A crime scene has been put in place. There have been no arrests.
A resident living on the street tweeted a video of police officers and cars along the road.
They wrote: “#abbevilleroad shooting. road closed off.”
Another also said the road is closed and posted and image of police tape.

London knife crime
Over recent weeks, the capital has reported several violent crimes.
Earlier this month, a murder inquiry was launched after a man was gunned down in north London.
Police and firearms teams found a man in his 20 suffering from a gunshot injury at Windrush Road on the Stonebridge Estate in Brent.
The officers said they provided first aid until paramedics arrived but despite their efforts the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
London has seen an increase of violent crimes
Days before, a man in his 30s was shot dead in Penge, London, marking the eighth fatal shooting this year.
Metropolitan Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at around 2am to reports of a man collapsed in Croydon Road, Penge.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives from Specialist Crime are investigating and believe the man died from gunshot wounds.
