The former Conservative Party Chairman argued Mr Cameron never knew where he was going. Lord Tebbit revealed he told a black cab driver that if Mr Cameron was in his taxi he would say take the “easy route” without revealing the destination of the journey. Lord Tebbit shared his views on the former Prime Minister with Express.co.uk.
He said: “A black cab driver said to me a few years ago ‘you must know Cameron, what sort of bloke is he really?’
“I said well I’ll tell you if he got into your cab as your next fare and you said where to sir?
“He’d say take the easy route and you’d say yes but where to?
“He’d say I told you take the easy route.

“He never knew where he was going.
“He was only concerned that it was easy on the way.”
Earlier this month Boris Johnson was caught grinning as the Queen read out the Fixed-term Parliaments Act will be repealed.
The Act, which was brought about in 2011 by David Cameron and the Liberal Democrats, sets out the timetable for parliamentary elections and dissolution of Parliament.
