A man whose partner told him a “ghost” was haunting their garage decided to have a look around – and captured something truly spooky on camera.
The footage, shared to Reddit by u/Notorious-Meszaros, shows the cluttered garage.
Behind the camera, the man says: “Let’s see a ghost, I’m not sure I even believe any more.”
Right on cue, a toolbox sitting on a table in the distance seems to swivel before tumbling off its perch onto the ground.
No one else seems to be anywhere near it, making it seem like the object fell on its own accord.
“Yooo, okay,” the cameraman says. “No, what the f***?”
In his Reddit post, he explained the backstory of the incident.
“I heard noises in the garage,” he said. “I was Snapchatting my fiancé who was at work about it.
“My fiancé said it’s a ghost. And I was an on the fence believer.
“Until this. My dog can be seen after, however, he was at the back door at the time. And I looked and tried every means of debunking it.”
The video has already received more than 600 upvotes since being posted earlier today and viewers have flocked to the comments section to offer their suggestions.
“With all that stuff in the garage, I’m guessing something either fell over or it could be a mouse or squirrel or some such critter,” one said.
But the uploader responded by saying there have been “no signs of vermin”.
Another said: “That’s a great video. The thing that falls slowly rotates first before it falls and it also looks like a fairly heavy object. I’m glad it’s not in my house.”
A third wrote: “Looks like a ghost or spirit f***ing with you. People can try to rationalise anything but sometimes it just is a good ol’ ghost.”
Other viewers claimed it could simply be a gust of wind, but the uploader again denied this possibility because there was no window open.
