Manchester United have reached an agreement with Edinson Cavani this afternoon. The free agent is now set to fly to the city tomorrow to complete his medical and will sign a two-year deal at Old Trafford.
United have agreed to pay the 33-year-old £20million to make the move.

United have also enquired about Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele.
The Catalan club are only interested in a permanent deal though with Ed Woodward wanting a loan instead.
United believe they can sign Sancho next summer if they are unable to get an agreement before Monday’s deadline.
Red Devils fans will be left mightily disappointed if there aren’t more arrivals before then though.

Meanwhile, the Red Devils are looking into the possibility of signing Ousmane Dembele after growing frustrated with their attempts to sign Jadon Sancho.
And former midfielder Darren Fletcher would be concerned if Dembele moved to Old Trafford.
“It suggests that they are moving on from Jadon Sancho,” he said.
“I think Ousmane Dembele’s a right winger, a position they are finally identifying.
“It comes with its risks – his injury record is not great over the last few seasons – I think he only made five league appearances last season, but he’s a talented player.

“Barcelona purchased him for £100m or something like that.
“I think a loan deal would suit United, and probably both parties, I think he needs a fresh challenge, coming to a massive club like Manchester United.
“It’s a chance to showcase himself, get opportunities, get fit and potentially look for a transfer down the line, but I wouldn’t say they’ve got to sign him because of his injury record, and he has tendencies to be late a lot of the time judging by reports.
“United should give him the opportunity to showcase himself and be the player everyone thought he was gonna become.”
United return to action tomorrow when they take on Tottenham in the Premier League (4.30pm).
