But after the announcement of their six week long holiday from public duties, when will royal fans get their next dose of the happy family? Meghan Markle and Prince Harry shared intimate details with the public about the certain pressures they face and the impact it has had on their mental health in a documentary with ITV’s Tom Brady back in October.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were married in May last year and welcomed their first son together, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, into the world just slightly less than a year later.
Their first child is now seven months old and will soon be experiencing his very first royal Christmas.
But with the previous announcement that the royal couple will be taking a six week break from royal duties when will royal fans be treated next to a family outing?
An insider told the Sunday Times: “The Duke and Duchess have a full schedule of engagements and commitments until mid-November, after which they will be taking some much-needed family time.”

The Royal Family are roughly taking six weeks off, during which it was reported that they will be flying to the USA where it’s very likely that they will choose to celebrate much of the festive season.
Last month, Prince Harry made his last public appearance at the OnSide Awards at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
A palace spokesman told The Sun: “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are looking forward to extended family time towards the end of [November].
“Having spent the last two Christmases at Sandringham, Their Royal Highnesses will spend the holiday this year, as a new family, with the Duchess’ mother Doria Ragland.
“This decision is in line with precedent set previously by other members of the Royal Family, and has the support of Her Majesty The Queen.”
Meghan’s last public appearance was on Remembrance Sunday where she joined the rest of the Royal Family for the annual service.
The 38-year-old mother-of-one watched the ceremony from the balcony of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, alongside Sophie, Countess of Wessex, and Sir Timothy Laurence.
In 2019 to date, Prince Harry has undertaken 98 engagements according to the Court Circular. By comparison, his wife Meghan has undertaken only 28 engagements.

Now that the festive season is in full swing, the family are expected to “recharge their batteries” for six weeks before returning to royal duties in January.
However, royal blogger and enthusiast, Kate Disick, speculates that fans might have to wait a bit longer than January to see the young family again.
She said: “Last year during December we saw quite a lot of the Duchess of Sussex and many will be disappointed to find out it’s likely we’ll have to wait for quite some time still until we get to see the couple and baby Archie next.
“Their decision to stay away from Sandringham this year and spend Christmas with Meghan’s mum in the USA couldn’t have been a light decision, after all, it’s Archie’s first Christmas and you’d expect their to be traditions and protocols that they should be following, but then again, [Harry and Meghan] have never been sticklers for the rules.”
Last year, Meghan Markle had a busy January schedule with eight different appearances scheduled for January alone and nine in February, but is it likely royal fans will see her again then?
“Currently there are no future engagements scheduled in Meghan or Harry’s diary, therefore I am inclined to think that they won’t make an appearance again till mid February or maybe even later,” speculated Disick.
“They’ve not been enjoying the spotlight so this retreat away from prying eyes could do them some good and recharge their batteries.”
Given that the family is off from work for the remainder of the year, it’s highly unlikely the public will see them at any official event in the near future.
So far, neither Meghan or Harry have any confirmed engagements scheduled in the royal diary for the remainder of 2019 or 2020.
The next engagement the couple alongside their son will definitely be seen is Trooping the Colour in 2020.
