A bizarre conspiracy theory that Michael Jackson is still alive is doing the rounds again – with believers claiming to have “found” the King of Pop dancing in a TikTok video.
This time the Thriller and Billie Jean hitmaker has allegedly turned up in Melbourne, Australia, and performed his signature moonwalking moves.
In the video, which has more than 112,000 “likes”, a man in a replica of one of MJ’s trademark stage outfits performs an impressive moonwalk on rough concrete.
The dancer, who wears the late star’s iconic white socks and a red jacket, also rocks his head and flicks his hands out as he dances backwards with an energetic beat.
Paul Rizzo, who is a Michael Jackson impersonator, is the man behind the mystery and although he bears a striking resemblance to the late superstar he is definitely not MJ.
But this didn’t stop hardcore Michael Jackson fans from getting a little overexcited and many in the comments said the video was proof that he is alive.
Posting three pink love heart emojis, someone commented: “Michael still alive.”
“Is that really Jackson?” asked a second befuddled fan.
“He was not dead? I do not understand anything,” commented another viewer.
“Hi Michael Jackson,” said another.
“Imagine this was really Michael Jackson doing TikToks,” a fan joked.
The video was shared by the TikTok channel @melbournetransformers who asks fans to follow the @officialpaulrizzo account for more MJ lookalike dance videos.
This is not the first time an uncanny Michael Jackson impersonator has sparked wild theories that the King of Pop is still alive.
Sergio Cortes, who some fans claim is the real MJ, has been urged to take a DNA test and recently caused a stir when he shared a video of himself in a black vintage military jacket.
The lookalike even claims his appearance is “all-natural” and no plastic surgery was involved.
